Farm friends, I have been honored today by my friend Patrice at Everyday Ruralty. She interviewed me for her wonderful feature post called “Barn Chicks Who Blog.” Awesome, right? Wish I had thought of it. She has a wonderful blog with great posts about family, farming, country living and life in general. If you haven’t visited her blog you are really missing out.
Click on the button below and it will take you to the interview if you are interested. Getting a feature for being a barn chick is so exciting to me, being celebrated as someone who wears muck boots, loves Sunday dates to Tractor Supply with my husband, flower gardening and love of animals makes my heart smile. Thank you Patrice for your interest, kindness and support of all us barn chicks everywhere.
Happy Wednesday all,

I have fallen in love with your farm and the little cottage on your property. I ordered a beautiful floral quilt off line because the guest house inspired me.
Amy, you are so funny... dates to Tractor Supply, love it! And I think I've been on a couple of those, too.
~Mary
I am going to go over and check it out right now!
Loved the interview! I am with you...more land...more animals (mini donkeys especially).
I loved the interview. I said in my comment on that blog that I wish for guests in your cottage and many weddings for you two hard working people. All the best!--Inger
This was a wonderful interview ~ your answers felt like they came from over the edge of a coffee cup...and plenty of goodies on the table to snack on :)
I can truly understand how your relationship with your animals helps define the rest of your interaction with the world...When I need to de-stress (winter is our "paperwork" season ugh!)the first thing I do is visit with the horses, or take a walk with Dexter, or brush the cats...entering their world for a while definitely takes the edge off of the "human" world!
Congratulations on the interview!
You always have great posts.
I am headed over now to check out Everyday Ruralty and the interview.
Have a great weekend.
