Barn Chicks Who Blog

Farm friends, I have been honored today by my friend Patrice at Everyday Ruralty. She interviewed me for her wonderful feature post called “Barn Chicks Who Blog.” Awesome, right? Wish I had thought of it. She has a wonderful blog with great posts about family, farming, country living and life in general. If you haven’t visited her blog you are really missing out.

Click on the button below and it will take you to the interview if you are interested. Getting a feature for being a barn chick is so exciting to me, being celebrated as someone who wears muck boots, loves Sunday dates to Tractor Supply with my husband,  flower gardening and love of animals makes my heart smile. Thank you Patrice for your interest, kindness and support of all us barn chicks everywhere.

    Happy Wednesday all,

What a wonderful picture of you. I started reading your blog when you told about Christmas Eve and your lost dog. I was so glad you found him.

Love the new header! What a nice thing to happen to best little farmers ever! You have the cutest little farm and I love coming here. No wonder someone else thought you were the one to write about. Hope you get lots of PR from this and people start coming to rent the cottage! If I could travel, I'ld be there!

This was a wonderful interview ~ your answers felt like they came from over the edge of a coffee cup...and plenty of goodies on the table to snack on :)

I can truly understand how your relationship with your animals helps define the rest of your interaction with the world...When I need to de-stress (winter is our "paperwork" season ugh!)the first thing I do is visit with the horses, or take a walk with Dexter, or brush the cats...entering their world for a while definitely takes the edge off of the "human" world!

I am headed over now to check out Everyday Ruralty and the interview.

Amy, I have just finished reading your interview, how I have enjoyed learning about you and your beautiful Verde Farm. I knew you would be as lovely on the outside as on the inside! May I inquire how far Northeast you come when traveling for work? Might you come close to Maine? Blessings to you my friend.
